Zapdos (D&P Majestic Dawn)

Today's review is on Zapdos from the majestic dawn series of diamond and pearl. For this series they went and did the three legendary birds as their main focus. I love the birds, they Are the first ever legendary Pokemon (besides mewtwo) the way they did them is just awesome so today is on Zapdos.
This particular Zapdos has an hp of 100 which is awesome! It's got a weakness to electric ( that's kinda weird ) and a resistance to fighting. The poke-body is called "sheet lightning" this means whenever you put Zapdos from your hand to your bench, choose one of your opponents Pokemon and do 10 damage to it! So any poke body that does damage is a good thing in my book! Zapdos second move is called "raging thunder" this attach does 80 damage for just 3 energy cards (one colorless and two lightning) however it does 40 damage to one of YOUR bench Pokemon witch suck. But if you play your cards right it shouldnt hurt you to bad! So all in all this card is pretty good, I don't ever like the fact of doing damage to your own Pokemon but when the attack does 80 damage to you opponent it's hard to stay away from this card. As far as strategy goes I would probably use some scoop up trainers with this card so you can remove damage and have it in your hand again so when you play is a second or third time you can use the poke body !
