Articuno (D&P Majestic Dawn)
Today's review is on Articuno from majestic dawn and like Zapdos yesterday I love this card! It has an HP of 100, a weekness to steel and a resistance to fighting. Obviously because it's a flying Pokemon. And a retreat cost of 2. If you love Pokemon cards as much as I do you start to see a pattern with sets. For example..... The legendary dogs, birds, dialga, and palkia. They all use similar moves and poke bodys with the cards. So like Zapdos, Articuno has a poke body called "freezing screech" this allows you to flip a coin when you put Articuno from your hand to bench, if heads you choose one of your opponents Pokemon and that Pokemon is now paralyzed. Defiantly not bad! Articunos second move is "blizzard." for 2 water and 1 colorless energy you can do 60 damage. Now there is a problem with this move because you have to flip a coin, if tails you have to do 10 damage to YOUR bench. I don't ever like attacks that put you Pokemon in jeopardy. However if you flip heads, you do 10 damage you your OPPONENTS benched Pokemon so it can also be good! This card is a lot like yesterday's Zapdos review ( you can see what I was talking about with the pattern of cards.) if you guys know me you know I'm a fire type trainer the whole way but Articuno is my favorite bird (not moltres) I don't know why I just always have! As far as strategy goes this card is pretty Basic. I think i would keep this card in my hand until you and your opponent get real close to knocking out each others Pokemon. Then when you play this card you can use the poke body and try to paralyze your opponent. That way you can fo in for the kill! tomorrow I will be reviewing moltres from the same set! I hope you guys have been enjoying my reviews and that you continue to read them! Talk to you tomorrow!
